1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile and a large rug. It easily drove close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or rugs.
Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. However, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you through the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and replenished as required. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to easily remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, too, even though it is sometimes hung up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border within the application). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station if required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one area to another without having to reverse direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors However, it tends to leave a large distance over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, alter suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are great at picking up dirt and debris but they're not able to get all dust. robot vacuum best is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It is easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't remove cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
