Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling a variety of floor types. Find models that allow you to choose from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up stairs.
Many of the top models work with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. good robot vacuum Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.

When I tested the S1, it was able to identify our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it does sometimes get hung up on the small rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary within the app). Mopping capabilities are very good and include a pair of mop heads that lift and scrub the floor instead of drag the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors However, it tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings as well as view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a reliable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt however, it's not able to get every last piece of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 still offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't clean up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. This device also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
